Evaluation of vibration mode shape using a mechanoluminescent sensor

چکیده

This study proposes a method to measure vibration mode shape on beam structures by using the elastic mechanoluminescent (EML) material SrAl2O4: Eu2+. The EML phenomenon has attracted interest due its potential for application strain distribution, crack visualization, and structural health monitoring. In this Letter, relationship between distribution of luminous intensity is explored found be quadratic. A comparison results experiments simulations shows that proposed can structure's shape. also experimental parameters, such as exposure time camera amplitude excitation, do not affect validity method. robustness convenience make it more efficient technique than prevalent electrical or optical vibrational methods analysis.
